Part I

OBJECTIVE:
This assignment is to evaluate learners’ analytical skills in exploring the importance of the anatomy and physiology of the human body and its relation to diseases.

SYNOPSIS:
The cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. Tissues are formed from groups of cells with similar structures. Although there are many types of cells in the human body, they are organized into four broad categories of tissues: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous. Each of these categories is characterized by specific functions that contribute to the overall health and maintenance of the body. A disruption of the structure is a sign of injury or disease. Thus, with a greater understanding of the body systems, nurses will be able to successfully determine the problem and conclude a more accurate solution in managing the patient (Grant et al., 2022).
