CASE STUDY ON TIME SERIES AND DECISION MATRIX

A sales outlet has been in operating in same location for the past four years. The retail outlet manager intends to study the performance of the revenue. He has collected data (shown in table 1). He is aware that there could be a pattern that drive sales across each quarter.
Using an appropriate time series forecasting method, develop a suitable solution.
a) Visualize a relevant time series graph* to help him understand better.

After operating for 4 years, the retail owner has recognized the e-Commerce has taken up and start to erode some percentage of his business even though the business did record some growth over the years. The retail owner needs to make objective decision whether to continue to invest to renovate the current store to improve visibility for incremental sales or to decide other option. The other option is to launch an e-Commerce platform with minimal cost with the intention of cross platform to increase sales. He needs to evaluate objectively.
The retail store will evaluate based on the total annual sales (from retail outlet) from 5 merchandise (see table 2) and compare an estimated 4% compounded sales increase with eCommerce platform.
