1. All assignments must be the original work of the student. Students can discuss assignment questions in groups, download material from the internet, etc., but the assignment must be the original work of the student.
2. Lecturers will indicate on the assignment if it is felt that the assignment is not the original work of the student.
3. UniMAP reserves the right to re-mark and check all assignments which have evidences of plagiarism and take action on the student, as may be deemed appropriate, including the deduction of marks and the grant of a Grade F (Fail) to the paper.
4. Students are advised to do the assignments with minimum 5000 words.
5. Students must strictly adhere to assignment submission deadlines set by the lecturer for a module ie.30 days from the date of the module. For late submissions, i.e. after 30 days but before 40 days, there will be a penalty of 10% reduction on marks allocated for the assignment. Assignments submitted after 40 days without acceptable reasons and supporting documents (e.g. accidents, hospitalization, death, work related overseas assignments, etc.) will be rejected in which case the student has to re-sit the module. Resitting involves attending the module again and doing all assignments and exercises given. A fee will be imposed as deemed appropriate.
6. Assignments must be written in English.
